I am interested, how do I start service?

We are glad to welcome you to the Bare Paws family. Starting service is easy. Simply hit "Start Today" on the upper part of your screen. Answer our simple questionnaire , and we will get back to you as soon as possible..

I have signed up for services, now what?

Please give us at least two business hours. In the event that you have contacted us after business hours or just before the end of business hours please give us until the next day. We are open 7 days a week 10:00 am to 7:00pm.

We apologize for any inconvenience, we are all pet sitters and dog walkers here. If an email or message takes some time to be answered we are most likely all out on the field taking care of pets.

What areas do you service?

Dog Walking:

We serve all of  Manhattan. 

In particular  the Upper East Side , Midtown, Harlem, Morning side, Upper West Side, and Lower East Side are some of our major hubs

We do not service Queens, Staten Island or Brooklyn for dog walking.

Cat Sitting:

We serve all of  Manhattan.  In particular the Upper East Side, Harlem, Upper West Side, Morning Side, and Lower East Side.

We serve the following areas in Queens for cat sitting : Astoria, Long Island City.

Brooklyn Wide coverage available please contact us with your address to see if we cover you.

We do not service Staten Island.

How can I schedule service?

You can schedule service quickly an easily by contacting us. or using our client login portal powered by Timetopet.
When you start walks with us, you will be able to easily schedule walks, on your phone or computer by asking our Client Login section.

Whats your cancellation policy?

Cancel anytime for free before two hours of a dog walking service. Pet sitting services may have an additional fee for cancelling.

Are  you insured?

We are insured and bonded. We cover any damaged property caused by us, medical expenses caused by us to your pet, and cover any lost keys. We do not cover any sicknesses your dog may receive from other dogs. Which is why we ask all dogs in our care have updated vaccinations. And owners announce if their dog's have any ailments prior to the start of all walks.

What is a meet and greet?

A meet and greet, is where you get to meet a Bare Paw team member . For dog walking clients, you meet your walker and back up walker. And more importantly we meet your pet!

How do I pay?

Invoices are generated automatically after we have booked services for your pets.  Clients will be billed automatically each Friday. For all pet sitting services that have been performed prior to the billing service time. 

Minimum scheduled service?

There is no minimum scheduled service. We do require a meet and greet for all clients. 

What about my keys?

We ask for two new keys from each client. The first key stays with your sitter, the second is kept in a secure lock box or our office depending on proximity to your home. We never tag your keys with your name or address. We take the second key just in case the first key is misplaced, broken or your sitter has a personal emergency. We are still bale to access your pets.
For new clients we pick up and drop off keys free of charge for the first service. If keys are not left with us you can drop it off at one of our associated lockboxes for a fee or a sitter can pick up for an additional fee.
We will not pay for lost keys or lock outs if a client  does not provide us with at least two sets of keys.
