We are glad to welcome you to the Bare Paws family. Starting service is easy. Simply hit “Start Today” Answer our simple questionnaire, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Invoices are generated automatically after we have booked services for your pets. Clients will be billed automatically each Monday. For all pet sitting services that have been performed the prior week to the billing service time.
Please give us at least two business hours. In the event that you have contacted us after business hours or just before the end of business hours please give us until the next day. We are open Monday to Friday 10 am to 7 pm and Saturday 10 am to 5pm. Our office is closed on Sundays but you we are still available for visits!
We apologize for any inconvenience, we are all pet sitters and dog walkers here. If an email or message takes some time to be answered we are most likely all out on the field taking care of pets.
We serve all of Manhattan.
In particular, the Upper East Side, Midtown, Harlem, Morning side, Upper West Side, and Lower East Side are some of our major hubs
We do not service Queens, The Bronx Staten Island or Brooklyn for dog walking.

Yes, we are use to handling pets with allergies. And have built in procedures.
As for medical needs, you’ll need to let us know before we confirm visits for your pets.
There are no fees for weekend visits.
Yes we charge $8 on all federal holidays .
New Years Eve, New Years Day, Christmas Eve we charge $10
On Christmas Day we charge $15
Our dog walkers are employees. Which means they have set days on and off. We attempt to keep your dog with the same walker. But it depends on scheduling early, consistent scheduling.
We do not charge , if dog walks or cat sits are cancelled the day before by 7pm. After that time we will charge a $7 fee. If the walk or sit is cancelled within two hours of the range we charge for the whole walk.
Sleepovers , 24 hours full day visits that are less than 2 days in length must be cancelled 48hours prior. Or incur a 50% fee
Continuous sleepovers that last 2 or more days, most be cancelled 72 hours prior. Or incur a 25-50% fee.
We know life happens, and we try to be flexible. Cancel by 7pm the night prior free of charge. Cancel after 7pm, we charge a fee of $7. If you cancel within two hours of the walk you will be charged for the full amount. For example if Fido’s walk time range is 2-4 pm, you can cancel free of charge anytime before 7 pm the day prior. Should you cancel the day of you will be charged $7 as long as the walk is cancelled by noon.
If you are cancelling a booked full day, sleepover or partial day service, please book 48 hours prior to the visit. And if you are cancelling for a week stay, please cancel one week prior to the stay.

We are insured and bonded. We cover any damaged property caused by us, medical expenses caused by us to your pet, and cover any lost keys. We do not cover any sicknesses your dog may receive from other dogs. This is why we ask all dogs in our care have updated vaccinations. And owners announce if their dogs have any ailments prior to the start of all walks.
A meet and greet are where you get to meet a Bare Paw team member. For dog walking clients, you meet your walker and back up a walker. And more importantly, we meet your pet!

There is no minimum scheduled service. For dog walking services that are 4 or less visits a week. Or 16 or less visits month. We add a $5 fee for each visit.
Yes , we will take care of 10 or less house plants free of charge. We do not accept any liability for your plants
Certainly, we do so free of charge. We are not liable for any missing or damaged mail or packages.
